Nancy Wiser Photo Nancy Wiser is recognized as a leader in her profession and community who brings 25 years of public relations and marketing experience to the table.

Before establishing her own firm, Ms. Wiser served as vice president of one of Kentucky's oldest and largest public relations firms. She previously served as director of public relations and marketing for Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital, where she worked for six years. There she led the department's efforts in public relations, marketing, communication, fund raising, and volunteer services. Prior to that, she held management public relations and marketing positions with Good Samaritan and Eastern State hospitals.

Ms. Wiser has earned the Public Relation Society of America's highest distinction, admission to The College of Fellows. She was a director on the Society's national board, an executive committee member of the PRSA Foundation, and chair of the District Council. She was twice Thoroughbred Chapter president, chair of the East Central District, and chapter ethics officer.

Ms. Wiser is listed in Who's Who in Public Relations. She is on the Executive Committee of Commerce Lexington, serving as Vice Chair for Public Policy and past chair of the Small Business Celebration Committee. She is on the boards of Kentucky Blood Center and Bluegrass Tomorrow, a graduate of Leadership Lexington, and previously served as president of the Lexington Forum and chair of the High Street YMCA Branch Board of Managers.

Ms. Wiser earned a master's degree in communication from the University of Kentucky and an undergraduate degree from Eastern Kentucky University. She served as a visiting instructor with the University of Kentucky's Integrated Strategic Communication program and Eastern Kentucky University, teaching courses in media relations, writing, and public relations cases. She is on the EKU Department of Communication Advisory Council.

She has presented nationally and regionally on such topics as issue management, media relations, customer satisfaction, and research.
