LEXINGTON - Mary Hemlepp, co-owner of Wiser, Hemlepp & Associates, a Lexington public relations firm, has been elected to serve on the national boards of directors for RetireSafe and the Senior Center for Health and Security.

RetireSafe is a grassroots education and advocacy organization promoting solutions to America's retirement security challenges. The organization educates seniors on issues affecting them, conducts opinion research with seniors and works with Congress on their behalf.

The Senior Center for Health & Security promotes the promise and potential of innovative medical research and development and highlights its importance in ensuring seniors live longer, healthier lives. The Center also helps policy makers, administrators and the media understand the special needs of older Americans and to ensure they have access to the best and broadest array of choices.

Both organizations are based in Reston, Va.
